The Detailed Short & Sweet Kenya Safari Holiday Vacation - 4 Days Luxury Safari Adventure Holiday Vacation Itinerary
Day 1 – 3: Masai Mara Game Reserve
This adventure begins and ends at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, in Kenya.
Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met by a member from the team who will drive you Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Kichwa Airstrip. From the airstrip, embark on your first game drive to your choice of Bateleur Camp or Kichwa Tembo Masai Mara Tented Camp.
The Masai Mara is Kenya’s most renowned game park, situated in the northern extension of the Serengeti. Its legendary Great Migration, of over two million wildebeest and other antelope, has been described as one of nature’s greatest wildlife spectacles – and an experience every safari enthusiast should witness at least once in their lifetime. Game viewing in this celebrated park is wonderful all round the year, with virtually guaranteed sightings of the Big Five. The park takes its name from the Mara River, which flows through the reserve, and the Maasai people, a tribe whose red dress and proud demeanor have ensured they are probably Kenya’s best-known (and most-photographed) people.
Spend three nights at Bateleur Camp. At Bateleur Camp accommodation is in a luxuriously safari tent raised on a wooden platform, with private veranda. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees, emergency medical evacuation insurance, laundry, daily lodge activities.
Adventures include twice-daily game-drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles, spotlight night drives on the camp’s wilderness concession, guided nature walks with a Maasai naturalist and sundowners at a secret location that boasts spectacular views across the Mara. Maasai community visits and hot air balloon trips are also available at an additional cost.
Tips
