Days 1 - 3: Kigali City - Kinigi Volcanoes National Park / Parc National des Volcans
On arrival at Kigali, you will be transferred to Kinigi Volcanoes National Park / Parc National des Volcans to check in at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge, ready for your adventure to begin!
Mountain Gorilla View Lodge is excellently located near to the areas for Gorilla trekking, you will be able to enjoy stunning views of Mount Sabyinyo and the surrounding wilderness while you relax awaiting for your adventure to begin.
On your second day, you will go Gorilla trekking in the magnificent Volcanoes National Park. The Rwandan gorilla experience offers a range of treks available for different people’s abilities; there are opportunities for everyone to spot these fascinating and majestic animals in their natural habitat. Trekking into the dense rainforest for an unforgettable encounter is an experience everyone should try once in a life time!
On the third day, you will have the chance to track endangered Golden Monkeys amongst their bamboo habitats, at the base of volcanoes. These charming animals are increasingly becoming accustomed to humans, and offer an entertaining and unique experience!

Days 4 - 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will be driven across to Uganda to the famous Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you sill stay at the beautiful Kotare Lodge.
A contrasting experience to Kinigi Volcanoes National Park, you will be able to enjoy stunning views across the savannah, and embark on an evening game ride to spot some of Africa’s most famous animals.
On your second day here, you will go on an early-morning Lion tracking expedition with an expert Lion team – a new and exhilarating adventure! By directly participating in Lion conservation, this offers a rewarding and memorable experience. This will be followed by brunch and a tour of a coffee cooperative, before taking another late afternoon game ride. Watch out for Lions, Leopards, Elephants and Rhinos!
On your final day in Uganda, you will be able to go Chimpanzee tracking in Kyanbura Gorge – an area famous for primate life. You’ll be able to spot a variety of wildlife high up in the forests before taking a boat cruise on the spectacular Kazinga Channel. This is yet another wildlife haven, where you’ll be able to watch crocodiles, buffaloes and hippos!
